Current Events

There is a MANDATORY meeting in the Commons at 3:30 p.m. for all players  interested in trying out for either Varsity and JV.  There will be practice for all boys right after the meeting.  All boys will need to bring their equipment and sneakers.  The schedule for the remainder of the week will be discussed.

The Varsity is currently scheduled for a LAX play day Saturday March 12th in Northern Maryland.  30 minutes games are scheduled for 10, 11:30, 12 and 1.  More information to follow. 

There will be a Sprint Sports Parents-Coaches meeting Wednesday March 16th at BSHS.

Our first Parent's Social is scheduled for March 19th from 7:00PM to 10:00PM at Downingtown Country Club. Cash bar. Please stop in whenever you can. We welcome all freshman parents!

April 10th Beef and Beer - we need your support!  The proceeds from this benefits the entire Athletic Program at Bishop Shanahan.  See information below.

The only two required items which the coach would like everyone to have is the long sleeve and short sleeve base layers in white for under the uniform. We are providing these items at cost to the players.

In addition to the two shirts, Coach Heisman has requested the team all wear the same sock. We are currently working on a design and the booster club will provide the first pair free to each player. There is an option to buy additional pairs, but this will not be necessary.

Scoreboard

Proceeds from the Athletic Beef & Beer will go to purchasing and installing the new scoreboards for the Soccer/Lacrosse and Rugby/Field Hockey Fields.  It is anticipated that the scoreboards will be operational for this spring season.  Please support the Athletic Beef & Beer.  Information below.
